Henry Kostecki, DVM
I graduated from Texas A&M veterinary school in 1971, instinctively knowing that there must be much more to healing than I had been taught. I had an overpowering curiosity to find out. I tried several healing systems over the years but found them all to be eclectic, without much scientific basis and minimally effective. Then came Homeopathy in the early 90's, and it was love at first sight. My search had ended with this truly holistic, powerful and gentle system of medicine. I was impressed with its long track record, dating from the early 1800's, of documented cures that were and still are unparalleled today.

Todd Cooney, DVM
Todd Cooney DVM, MS graduated veterinary school from Purdue in 1986, received a Master of Science in veterinary parasitology in 1989, and has experience in private practice, military practice and federal regulatory work. His interest in alternative healing methods began after severe health problems in 2003 left him doubting the wisdom and efficacy of conventional medicine. Homeopathy made more sense than any approach he studied thus far, and he began a rapid shift in his private practice to include it as the major form of treatment. He now treats a mixed population of small and large animals with homeopathy, and amazed at the simplicity and power of this wonderful system of medicine.

Francie Rubin, VMD
Graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1989 was my first great, personal accomplishment. Graduating from Dr. Richard Pitcairn's Professional Course in Homeopathy in 1995 was my second. After a long career in allopathic medicine and as small animal practice owner, I have come to know that homeopathy is the only modality that can truly heal and cure. It is exciting for me to be able to help animals in a way that I never dreamed was possible.
My "spare" time is spent with 2 dogs, 6 chickens, and a partner of twenty three years. Twice a year I travel with a group of veterinarians to the Hopi and Zuni reservations to provide veterinary care. We volunteer our time to spay and neuter the pets of the Native Americans who live there.

Douglas Yearout, DVM
I graduated from Washington State Veterinary school in 1980, fulfilling a lifelong dream of wanting to be a healer. Conventional medical practice had been in my family for generations, so naturally I proceeded along that path, with special interest in birds, exotics, zoo, and wildlife problems. Having been a park ranger, a wildlife zoologist, a botanist, a stint in the Army, and as a paramedic, these things gave me a unique perspective about medicine, wild and domestic animals, our environment, and how I wanted to fit into this system. I spent 16 often frustrating years trying to cure things, and following the modern medical paradigm. I did not really cure them, they just got better in spite of me. Many did not. There just had to be something else better than this. Therein began the journey to learn Holistic medicine. I have studied Homeopathy since 1996 including the Professional and Advanced courses, as well as the IFH and Luminos master clinicians programs. Learning Homeopathy never stops, and when practiced according to its foundation principles completely makes sense, and really does help the body to cure itself. It is dynamic, and after experiencing its rapid, and gentle abilities myself, there is no doubt as to its effectiveness. I am amazed at its power, and energy when used properly. I have also found animal Chiropractic to work well with Homeopathy, and completed training with AVCA in 2001. Nothing survives well without proper diets so there is a special interest in clinical nutrition. I like to explain things to people, and help them be more effective in helping themselves. He is a member of the AVH serving on the conference committee, as well as a member of the NCH, IAVH and AHVMA. He is a board member of the WAHA. He operates a Holistic practice serving companion pets, avian/exotics, and wildlife north of Seattle. His spare time is spent playing Scottish bagpipes, writing, teaching Homeopathy, and picking up many bags of litter while beachcombing at the coast.
SPECIAL FOCUS: TREATING EXOTIC ANIMALS, WILDLIFE.

Upon graduating from Colorado State University veterinary school in 1987 I embarked upon a journey that would eventually take me back to my past, but it was in a round about manner. I had to learn the allopathic ropes to gain a perspective to realize I wasn’t really helping my patients. I became frustrated with my profession, trying other avenues, even working in laboratory animal medicine and starting course work for a masters of science in public health. Eventually I took the CSU veterinary acupuncture and manipulative therapy courses. My direction had changed and my holistic road was unfolding. When I began studying homeopathy with Dr. Richard Pitcairn in 2003 I somehow felt I was “home” and was finally excited about veterinary medicine; I knew that the practice of homeopathy was where I wanted to focus my energy to help my patients. At this time, I learned more about the legacy on my mother’s side of the family. Six relatives were homeopathic medical doctors who attended Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia, and my great grandfather practiced homeopathy during the 1918 flu epidemic. In his obituary it was said he didn’t lose a patient. That was remarkable, as mortality rates from patients receiving allopathic care reached over 50%. Then, as today, homeopathy has as much effectiveness in acute situations as in chronic disease. My 100% holistic practice is based in Jackson, Wyoming, serving companion pets, horses and livestock, also offering homeopathic consults by phone.
